How to Get Anything You Want
I love to listen to Nido speak and to watch him on video because his words ring so true to me. The following are a few quotes from him to give you an idea of the power and meaning of his words.
“Most worthwhile achievements are the result of many little things done in a single direction.“
“Your present circumstances don’t determine where you can go; they merely determine where you start“
“Winners compare their achievements with their goals, while losers compare their achievements with those of other people“
Would you like to be either Successful or Significant? Don’t confuse the two, as many many people always do.
With success comes fans, fame and fortune. With so many examples in the movie and music industries, success is often a lonely and desperate and unfulfilling existence. What good is success if it means nothing to you? What good is success. if it doesn’t impact your life in a meaningful way?
Significance, on the other hand, comes from having friends, family and faith. As Nido says, with those three, what more could anyone ask? The real tragedy people seeking success is that they often leave their family, faith and friends behind. When they reached the top, they find out they’re all by themselves. A life of significance is one that encompasses those you love, it doesn’t sacrifice your faith.
