With all of the praises and the usual complaints about the new Windows 10, I’m pretty satisfied with it. One thing that has bugged me for the last few versions of Windows was the way it separated all of your settings into two panels, located in different parts of the computer. Another, new concept is the Virtual Desktop.
Your Settings
First there was the Control Panel, and there is now the Settings Panel. For far too many of us, we get confused as to which panel has which settings in it. Sometimes there are duplicate settings in both panels, further confusing us. Well, not to worry. There is now a way to put all of your settings in one place. It’s easy to do.

Presenting The God Mode
Many, if not most, of us have no idea that there is something called the “God Mode.” This is a feature that has been available in the last 3 versions of Windows, but it was forgotten about and not mentioned for some reason known only to Microsoft. The God Mode will provide the user with limitless powers, as long as they have Administrator access to their PC. Using God Mode, you can tweak the core settings of your PC and have all of your settings at your fingertips, in one folder. How nice is that? -
Entering God ModeTo get into God Mode, “right click” on the desktop, go to “New” and then click on “Folder” from the list. Copy the following text:My Own Mode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C
The text to the left of the period(.) can be changed to whatever you want it to read. This will be on your desktop, so call it something that will tell you exactly what it is. I called mine My God Mode. Paste this code into the name slot for the folder now on your desktop.
The picture below gives you an idea of what this mode looks like. Nice hunh?

Virtual Desktops Are Here!
Windows has taken on an entire new look and ability that makes it so easy to separate your Work from Play to even Everyday tasks. This is the Virtual Desktop, and it will change how you do things forever. You now have the ability to create and add additional workspaces to your computer. These workspaces are made-to-order for your needs. If you are a multi-tasker, like I’m not, than you’ll love this feature. For instance, you can have a desktop devoted strictly to Games, while another can be for that book you’re writing.A beautiful part of this you will get a new set of keyboard shortcuts to go with each desktop you create. This may get confusing to those, like me, who like their one set of shortcuts and would hate to learn a second one, or a third one. Nevertheless, it’s there if you want it.How to Create a new Virtual DesktopA new virtual desktop can be created by pressing the “WinKEY” + ctrl + D keys together. How To Switch between Virtual Desktops
You can use “WinKEY” + ctrl +Left Arrow or “WinKEY” + ctrl + Right Arrow keys to switch between virtual desktops. You will see a little icon at the bottom of your Task Bar for these new desktops. Just click on it and you will get your choice of desktops to choose from. See the photo for an idea how this is done.
