In the Stunt Man, Cameron is on the run from the police when he stumbles onto a live film set. His intervention results in the film stunt man accidentally drowning. Filming cannot continue until a new stunt man is found, but Ely Cross, the director, can’t tell anyone because then his film will get shut down.
Faced with running away or taking the stunt man’s place in the film, Cameron chooses the latter. Within 24 hours, he begins learning how to be a stuntman, falls in love with the leading lady, manages to avoid the police who are actively looking for him , all while thinking that the director is out to kill him.
Clearly, Cameron’s attention is being pulled in several directions. Each time he tries to focus on one has to do, something comes from out of left field to distract him. Nina, the leading lady, gets angry with him several times during the course of the film. Cameron has no idea what to do, as he has to learn to focus on becoming a stuntman or die trying.

The Stunt Man is a superior film about making movies. If you need a good example how to stay focused in a life or death situation, then Cameron is your man. It is until the end of the film that we learn the true nature of what the director intends. Cameron, and the audience, are kept constantly out of focus and wondering what’s coming next. The Stunt Man is one of my 100 Favorite Films of All Time. -

Brendon Burchard is a fascinating individual. His videos pull no punches, and always give tons of good useful information. His video called How To Stay Focused is quite typical of his excellent lessons that he gives.
Tony Robbins contributes a video about How To Focus. Robbins focuses also very hard-hitting, and he pulls no punches for people that are making mistakes. When you’re wrong, you’re wrong, and he tells it to you right between the eyes. This video needs to be watched three or four times in the space of a week or so. Believe me when he talks about will sink in and you’ll start to focus better.
