The next day, I dropped off a book at her job that had promised I would find for her. They put a little note on it saying it was from Tom. When Tracy, the beautiful woman in question, came in, she didn’t know who Tom was, but the book was the right book.
It seems that the name tag I had grabbed said Eddie, and not Tom. Tracy came into the book store later that day and saw that my name was not Eddie but in fact was Tom. I learned the value of always having proper identification with me at all times.
P.S., Tracy and I have been married for 25 years.

One day, my wife discovered she had too many books in her collection. She pulled out over 100 books and put them in a box and put them at my feet. She suggested that I check them on Amazon to see if they’re worth anything.
Curious, I began to look up the titles. I had a pad and pen with me and began to write down what they were worth. By the fourth book, I stopped writing. That fourth book was selling for $15. I started to get excited at the possibilities of selling stuff online.
I set up an account with Amazon, and listed the 116 books Tracy had given me. Soon, I began to find more things to sell. Tracy made suggestion to me that has been a very valuable lesson. She said that I haven’t read it, played with it, touched it or used it in 10 years that I should sell it.
I agreed with her suggestion, and soon found a small treasure trove of things in the house. These are things that I have been hoarding since I was a kid. Monster movie magazines, old science fiction books, toys and games that I had purchased and never opened. And they were worth Good money.
Today, I have over 5230 things listed in Amazon, and my inventory swells every week. I sell between 50 and 100 of those things every week. My income is about $200 to $300. Not bad for a bunch of junk.
I now visit flea markets and rummage sales with a very practiced and expert eye. I’ve gotten pretty good at discerning the junk from the gems. Of course, my basement is about to burst, but that’s another story. By the way, you can find my store HERE.
