On May 6, 2016, Captain America: Civil War will open. It will be a big money maker for reasons that will be clear to you soon.
This won’t be your regular Captain America film. This one is so big that it could legitimately be called The Avengers 3. both in story and in the cast, it’s as big as an Avengers movie. It’s not an Avengers film because there are 2 Avengers films already in pre-production for 2018 and 2020. more on that later.

Whereas the Avengers looks at a much larger canvas and the story would be about the broader issues of political lines, Captain America has a smaller but no less important area to address. Captain America: Civil War will be about loyalty, betrayal and friendship overall. Steve Rogers is betrayed by his own government, and he believes, by Tony Stark himself. This will put a major barrier between them going into the next 2 Avengers films, in which they play very large roles.
In the story that has been brewing for at least 4 years now, due to all of the havoc and destruction that have been caused by the appearance of Enhanced Humans such as the Avengers, the world has deemed it necessary to regulate the actions, and freedoms, of these people. This evolves into the Sokovia Accords, the rules for the New Order with regards to super heroes.

While Tony Stark (Iron Man) believes it’s a great idea and is on board right away, Steve Rogers (Captain America) wants no part of it. Only recently he had awakened from a 70 year sleep after fighting Hitler, who also regulated people and took away their freedoms. The film will tell of the showdown that happens after the UN creates
So, to the cast and the sides that they have taken. Spider Man is going to be in this film, but it is not known at this time whose side he will fall on.
